According to the report, she was placed on life support before her family made the decision to remove her from life support on Tuesday, August 11.

Knowings joined All That in 1997 and appeared in more than 30 episodes of the Nickelodeon series before making her final appearance in 1999.

During her time on the show, Knowings played several characters, including Penny Lane and Jessica in the recurring “Whateverrr!!!” sketch alongside Amanda Bynes.

She joined the programme after appearing in And Now This, a Rosie O’Donnell sketch-comedy special for Nickelodeon.

Her former All That co-star Kenan Thompson paid tribute to Knowings on Instagram following news of her death.

Her later television work included three appearances on Sesame Street between 2009 and 2011, including episodes alongside her real-life twin brother, Chris Knowings.
