Jonas Brothers are bringing their hits to the NFL’s historic Melbourne game

The Jonas Brothers will perform during halftime of the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia, as the Los Angeles Rams prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas are scheduled to headline the halftime performance at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday, Sept. 11. The NFL Melbourne Game will be broadcast live on Netflix in the United States on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 8:35 p.m. ET.

The performance will be part of the NFL’s 2026 international games programme, with Melbourne among seven countries hosting regular-season games this season. Additional performers connected to the international games are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Jonas Brothers said they were excited to perform at the historic event and described appearing at Melbourne Cricket Ground as an honour. The group also highlighted the opportunity to perform for Australian fans and audiences watching around the world.

NFL executives said the band was selected for its international popularity and ability to appeal to audiences across generations. The performance is expected to form part of the entertainment surrounding the league’s first regular-season game in Australia.

The 2026 NFL International Games schedule includes fixtures in London, Madrid, Melbourne, Mexico City, Munich, Paris and Rio de Janeiro. London will host three games, while the other locations will each host one.

The Rams and 49ers matchup will mark a significant expansion of the NFL’s international presence. The Melbourne game is expected to attract both Australian sports fans and viewers following the league from the United States and other markets.

For the Jonas Brothers, the NFL halftime show adds another major live performance to their international schedule as they continue their career as one of pop music’s most recognisable groups.
