Larry June and Jhené Aiko have fuelled speculation about a possible romance with the release of their new “California Dream” music video, which presents the pair with a noticeably intimate dynamic.

The video goes beyond the flirtatious chemistry often seen between artists collaborating on a song.

June and Aiko embrace repeatedly and share several suggestive moments, prompting fans to question whether the collaboration doubles as a public confirmation of their relationship.

Romance rumours surrounding the musicians began months ago after fans connected the pair through a series of Instagram posts. Neither artist has publicly confirmed that they are dating.

The speculation follows Aiko’s reported split from Big Sean, with whom she had been in a relationship for about a decade.

The pair collaborated extensively, including as the musical duo TWENTY88, and share a son, Noah Hasani Chilombo-Anderson.

Reports claimed the relationship ended partly because Aiko wanted marriage and greater commitment. One source told AllHipHop, “She wanted marriage — she wanted the commitment.”

The same source alleged that Aiko had issued “multiple ultimatums” before deciding to move on, adding, “Eventually, she realized that ring wasn’t coming. She decided it was time to move on.”

Despite reports of their separation, Aiko and Big Sean have reportedly remained focused on co-parenting.

For now, the “California Dream” video has intensified speculation, but it remains unclear whether June and Aiko are officially a couple.
