Tamasha Season 5: Meet the 18 contestants bringing diverse personalities to the house

Tamasha Season 5 is currently on-air with host Adnan Siddiqui bringing together 18 contestants for this year’s reality show.
The popular reality television series has returned for another season, this time featuring a diverse mix of social media personalities, models, doctors, makeup artists, activists, singers and actors.
The lineup brings together personalities from a wide range of professions, promising plenty of different perspectives and personalities inside the Tamasha house.
Here is a closer look at some of the contestants taking part in Tamasha Season 5:
Filmstar Laila
Filmstar Laila is an actress known for appearing in Urdu, Punjabi and Pashto films since the late 1990s. She made her mark in the film industry with projects including Kelona (1996) and Moosa Khan (2001).
Some of her prominent films include Soldier (2004), Dehshat (2004) and Shareek Gujjar (2006).
Laila has also had a long-standing association with actor Meera. She was previously engaged to Meera’s brother, and the two actresses continue to share pictures and videos together on Instagram.
Saqib Sameer is an actor, writer and director in the Pakistani entertainment industry. He is particularly known for playing the antagonist Haji Nazar in Bakhtawar.
He has also appeared in Ahram-e-Junoon, Raqeeb Se, Kabuli Pulao and Mehrunisa V Lub U. He is currently starring in the drama Aik Mohabbat Aur.
Beyond acting, Sameer also teaches theatre and acting, conducting workshops for aspiring performers and newcomers to the industry.
Samiya Hijab is a content creator and TikToker recognised for her fashion, comedy and lifestyle content. Her videos often feature lip-sync performances, dramatic expressions and short-form entertainment.
Last year, Hijab became the subject of widespread attention following an alleged kidnapping attempt. Police arrested a suspect, Hassan Zahid, in connection with the case after he allegedly attempted to forcibly take her from her residence.
Yasir Alam
Yasir Alam is a television actor who began his career in 2017, appearing in a number of supporting roles before taking on more prominent projects.
His television credits include Kaisa Mera Naseeb, Bechari Qudsia, Siyani, Farq, Jugnu, Mann Mast Malang, Mah-e-Tamam and Mohabbat Khawab Ka Safar.
Sahrish Ahmed is a television actor known for her roles as Ufaq in Bakht Hazari and Anum in Tauba. She has also appeared in projects including Tere Mere Sapnay, Agar and Kaala Doriya.
Outside television dramas, Ahmed has appeared in music videos, including Bandiya, as well as the short project Phantasmagoria.
At 22, Fasih Khalid is among the younger contestants in Tamasha Season 5, representing the Gen Z contingent in the house.
The young model has already made an impression on the show. In one clip, he can be seen teaching fellow contestants how to walk the runway, showcasing his modelling experience.
Esra Ayesha is a lifestyle and fashion model who has worked with several prominent Pakistani fashion and beauty brands, including Sonia Azhar, Komal Nasir, Kashees, Koko Atelier and Stylo.
Babrik Shah is an actor who made his film debut with Kyu Tum Se Itna Pyar Hai in 2005, opposite Veena Malik.
The pair later appeared together in the 2007 film Mohabbataan Sachiyaan. Shah and Malik were also previously in a high-profile relationship and had jointly purchased a plot of land before eventually separating.
Maysam Hussain
Maysam Hussain is a professional model known for his portrait photography and fashion work. He has modelled for brands including Delphi and Murtaza Khalique.
He has also walked the runway for Sana Safinaz, including at Pakistan Fashion Week in 2020.
Zayb Khan is an actor, model and digital content creator who has built a strong presence on Instagram.
He has already attracted attention during Tamasha. In a recent episode, Khan was praised by fellow contestants after a fake propaganda campaign was created against him, with viewers and housemates commenting on the way he handled the situation.
Iman Lakhani is a makeup artist, stylist and digital creator trained at the London School of Makeup. She has developed a presence in the beauty and digital-content space and is now bringing her personality to reality television.
Lakhani has also appeared in Lazawal Ishq Season 1. Her experience in beauty, styling and entertainment could make her an interesting personality to watch inside the Tamasha house.
Dr Zee Khan
Dr Zee Khan holds an MBBS degree and has training in aesthetics, dermatology and cosmetology. He also received professional training in Pakistan and worked at KTH.
Khan later moved into media and acting. He has appeared on Indus Vision and acted in projects including Thora Sa Asmaan and Tikon.
His combination of medical and entertainment experience makes him one of the more unconventional contestants in this season’s lineup.
Rabia Javaid Sheikh
Rabia Javaid Sheikh is an actor, content creator and travel enthusiast. She shares travel vlogs on YouTube and Instagram and was also a contestant on Muqabla 2 in 2023.
As a digital creator, Sheikh also produces lifestyle content, including posts related to makeup, skincare, fashion and travel.
Jay Kadn is a singer known for songs such as Kabool, Qadar, Dil Se and Jaan.
The singer has worked on music both locally and internationally and has collaborated with artists such as Sahir Ali Bagga. He has also appeared in music videos alongside actors including Mashal Khan.
Ramsha Salahuddin is an actor known for appearing in dramas including Khwab Nagar Ki Shehzadi, Qarar and Khafa.
She is also active on social media, where she shares fashion-related content as well as pictures and videos featuring her children.
Hamza Joher is a singer who performs live at events across Pakistan. He is known for performing covers of popular songs, including works associated with legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Joher also performs traditional music in Quetta, adding a strong regional and live-performance element to this year’s Tamasha cast.
Kubra Eshaq is a content creator and model who works with photographers, brands and artists on professional photo shoots and creative collaborations.
Her experience in modelling and digital content adds another social-media-focused personality to the Tamasha house.
King Hassan, also known as Hassan Khan, is a rapper, poet and social activist from Azad Kashmir. He initially gained recognition through Pakistan’s Got Talent and later appeared on the reality show Rap Icon Pakistan.
His music combines Urdu and regional poetry with hip-hop, often incorporating themes drawn from his identity and experiences in Azad Kashmir. His songs include Ikhtatam, Tribute to Kashmir and Artist from AJK.
As the competition moves forward, the contestants’ personalities, alliances, disagreements and performances will likely determine who manages to stay in the game.
