MUZAFFARABAD:

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Chaudhry Yasin on Sunday accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of widespread electoral rigging in the region and announced that the party would approach the courts seeking investigations into the alleged irregularities.

Addressing a press conference at the National Press Club ahead of the third phase of the AJK elections, Yasin raised serious questions over the roles of the Election Commission and the administration.

He alleged that the electoral process had been manipulated to facilitate the PML-N and said the PPP would challenge the alleged rigging before the higher courts.
