Britney Spears says botched Botox left her with droopy eye for four weeks

Britney Spears is opening up about a cosmetic procedure that she says left her with a droopy left eye for around four weeks.

The singer shared a video on Instagram warning her followers to be careful when getting Botox. Spears claimed a doctor injected too much Botox around her left eye, causing it to droop noticeably.

"It's so embarrassing," Spears said while demonstrating how her eye looked. She added that it was only recently beginning to return to normal.

Spears urged her followers, particularly women considering Botox, to be cautious about who performs their cosmetic procedures. She warned that mistakes involving injections around the eyes can significantly affect a person's appearance.

"Be careful with your bodies, because it's yours and you own it," Spears said. She captioned the post, "You can't trust anyone!!!"

Spears' comments come shortly after she shared an emotional social media post reflecting on motherhood, her relationship with her parents and the years she spent under a conservatorship.
