Love Island’s JaNa Craig teases exciting new chapter with secret scripted project

Love Island USA alum JaNa Craig is embracing a new chapter as she prepares to turn 30 and explores opportunities beyond reality television.

Craig, 29, spoke with PEOPLE at T-Mobile’s Club Magenta at Lollapalooza about her evolving career and the lessons she learned during her 20s. The reality star, who rose to fame after appearing on Love Island USA season 6 in 2024, said she is excited about what the next decade could bring.

“I learned so much in my 20s,” Craig said, describing the upcoming milestone as “a whole new chapter.” She added that she is particularly excited by the uncertainty surrounding her future and is trying to “embrace the unknown.”

Craig’s career has continued to develop since her time on Love Island USA. She has also faced personal challenges following her split from Kenny Rodriguez, whom she dated after they placed third on the reality dating series. Craig announced their breakup in July 2025.

Now, she says she is focused on moving forward and accepting new opportunities. Among them is a secret scripted film, marking a significant change from her reality TV background.

Craig teased that the upcoming project is “really fun” because it allows her to play a character rather than simply appear as herself. Although she has not revealed the film’s title or her co-star, she hinted that the project connects with the personality viewers first saw on Love Island USA.

The reality star also credited Love Island USA host Ariana Madix and other industry figures for supporting her during her transition.

As Craig approaches 30, she says her focus is on saying “yes to everything” and continuing to explore where her career can take her.
