Jaden Newman leaked video controversy: Brother Julian Newman addresses online backlash

Julian Newman has addressed the controversy surrounding intimate videos involving his sister, basketball player and social media personality Jaden Newman, after the material reportedly surfaced online.

According to videos circulating online, Julian discussed the issue on August 6, saying he wanted to respond after repeatedly seeing references to the controversy in his comment sections.

Julian defended his sister and said she should not be blamed for the situation.

He alleged that a former boyfriend was responsible for the leak, although the claim has not been independently verified. Jaden previously said during a livestream that she had been hacked.

In a separate clip circulating online, Julian also suggested that the increased attention could raise his sister’s profile.

He said, “And to look at the brighter side of things on a positive note, she's gonna be bigger than Kim K, man like for real. You know I'm saying like y'all care to like bro is. Y'all just gassing her up. You know I'm sad making her more known making her more poppin, you know. So like it's just it's just weird how like all these dudes be acting.”

Julian also criticised people discussing the incident online, saying, “Bro, no one cares. I don’t care. Get out of here, bro… First of all, y’all only care because it’s Jaden. Second of all, what that got to do with me.”

He later added, “I just wanted to get my point across… my sister, she ain’t a h*e, bro. She ain’t out here doing what y’all think she doing.”

Jaden, who gained recognition as a young basketball player, later played varsity basketball at Downey Christian School before enrolling at California State University, Los Angeles, in 2022.

The allegations surrounding the leaked material remain unverified, while Jaden’s reported hacking claim has also not been independently confirmed.
