Lebron James' wife Savannah says Hermès saleswoman was fired after turning her away in Italy

Savannah was with her friend April McDaniel and the duo revealed that they experienced the same at a Channel store

Savannah James says a Hermès saleswoman was fired after allegedly refusing to serve her and her friend April McDaniel at the luxury brand's store in Italy, despite the pair having a scheduled shopping appointment.

Savannah, 39, discussed the alleged incident with McDaniel during an appearance on Danielle Robay's Question Everything podcast on August 7. McDaniel said she had arranged Hermès appointments for the two women during their European trip, but claimed staff at the Italian location treated them poorly and turned them away.

"We had an appointment," Savannah said, while McDaniel alleged that the saleswoman was subsequently fired over the incident. Neither Savannah nor McDaniel specified the exact location of the store beyond identifying it as being in Italy.

According to McDaniel, the situation was eventually resolved with the women being taken to a private room, where they were offered champagne and caviar and shown a selection of merchandise. The pair said they had specifically wanted to see crocodile-leather pieces.

"They brought out everything," Savannah recalled, as McDaniel joked about buying everything from bags to silverware after the experience was turned around.

The friends also described a separate experience at a Chanel store in France. McDaniel claimed a sales associate repeatedly told Savannah not to touch a miniature bag, despite the item being available for customers to handle.

When asked whether experiences like these would discourage her from luxury shopping, McDaniel said no, explaining that she would instead escalate the situation to management.
