Madonna and Kylie Minogue have officially released their first-ever studio collaboration, Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix), days after surprising fans by debuting the song together at WorldPride Amsterdam. The long-rumoured duet is a reimagined version of Madonna's Confessions II track Love Sensation.

Produced by Stuart Price, the six-minute dance remix transforms the original into a euphoric house anthem, with a shorter radio edit also released alongside the full version. The collaboration marks the first official recording between the two pop icons, despite decades of mutual admiration and previous live performances together.

The pair first unveiled the song during Madonna's "Club Confessions" show at AFAS Live in Amsterdam as part of the city's WorldPride celebrations. Minogue made a surprise appearance, joining Madonna on stage for the performance before the two embraced to a roaring crowd. They also performed Madonna's Sorry, creating one of the festival's standout moments.

Although this is their first official duet, Madonna and Minogue have shared the stage before. In 2024, Minogue joined Madonna during the Celebration Tour in Los Angeles, where they performed Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive. Earlier this year, both artists also hinted that a studio collaboration was finally in the works.

The release adds another highlight to Madonna's successful Confessions II era, while giving fans a dream collaboration that has been decades in the making. With two of pop's most enduring stars finally joining forces on record, Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix) is already being hailed as one of the year's biggest dance music events.
