Machine Gun Kelly has denied a viral social media post claiming he regrets his 2024 split from former fiancée Megan Fox, dismissing the alleged tweet as fake.

The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, responded on Tuesday, October 13, to an X post shared a day earlier.

The post featured recent photographs of Fox, a picture of the former couple and an alleged screenshot of a tweet expressing regret over their separation.

The tweet claimed that seeing Fox’s photographs made MGK want to throw his phone against a wall. It also suggested he regretted losing a woman who had loved him.

Another section of the alleged post read, “imagine fumbling the girl of your dreams and then having to watch the entire world remind you how beautiful she is. i’ll never forgive myself for that s---.”

MGK directly disputed the claim in a reply, writing, “that tweet is faker than a pair of tits”.

Fox, 40, and MGK, 36, reportedly separated in December 2024 after first meeting while filming the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020. They confirmed their relationship later that year, and MGK proposed in January 2022.

Despite their separation, the pair continue to co-parent. In March, Fox shared photographs on Instagram with the caption, “Love was the most savage monster of all.” MGK commented, “Stoked we had a baby.”

MGK has also publicly credited Fox for her role as a parent. During an August appearance on Today with Jenna and Friends, he said, “I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work.”
