Rockstar Games has confirmed that fans will get another look at Grand Theft Auto 6 later this month, with an extended presentation set to premiere on Netflix before becoming available on YouTube.

The announcement marks the first official update from Rockstar regarding the game's next major reveal following the launch of pre-orders and the confirmation of pricing for Grand Theft Auto 6.

According to the publisher, the "extended look" will debut on August 27 at 3pm ET, 8pm BST and 9pm CST via Netflix.

The presentation will then be released on YouTube a few hours later, giving fans another opportunity to see the highly anticipated title ahead of its planned launch.

Rockstar has not revealed exactly what will be included in the presentation. However, anticipation has been building within the Grand Theft Auto community, with many players hoping for a closer look at gameplay systems, including the user interface, character interactions and the open-world experience featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia.

Previous trailers have showcased cinematic footage alongside gameplay scenes, but Rockstar has yet to provide an extended demonstration of the game's mechanics.

The announcement follows earlier comments from Take-Two Interactive chief executive Strauss Zelnick, who confirmed that the game's marketing campaign would ramp up during the summer ahead of its scheduled release.
