Antonio Cipriano transforms into Belmont Cameli for 'Off Campus' lookalike contest
Off Campus actor Antonio Cipriano recreated his co-star Belmont Cameli’s signature style for a lookalike contest, taking his transformation effort to social media.
Cipriano, who plays hockey player John Logan in the popular Prime Video series, documented his journey to resemble Cameli’s character Garrett Graham for a contest held in Vancouver, British Columbia, on August 5. The actor shared a video titled “Becoming Belmont”, showing the process behind his transformation, from hairstyling to outfit selection.
Cipriano completed the look with a black Chicago Blackhawks jersey, paying tribute to his connection to the hockey team’s hometown. The actor then joined other contestants for a series of challenges, including a dance competition, as participants competed for the title of Belmont Cameli lookalike.
Although Cipriano did not win the contest, he finished in third place and described the experience as “really fun” in his social media vlog.
The viral moment comes as Off Campus continues to gain popularity following its debut on Prime Video. The series stars Cipriano, Cameli, Ella Bright, Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn, with the cast currently preparing for season 2.
Cameli previously spoke about returning to production and maintaining the “magic” of the series, explaining that the cast remained focused on protecting the story and keeping the same energy that helped the show become a success.
