Snoop Dogg and Backstreet Boys' Kevin Richardson meet after years of lookalike memes

Snoop Dogg and Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson have finally met in person after years of internet memes comparing their appearances.

The musicians came together at the premiere of Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie at the Paramount Theatre, where they posed for photos and embraced on the red carpet.

Their meeting quickly attracted attention online, with fans referencing the long-running joke that the pair could be mistaken for twins.

The Backstreet Boys' official social media account acknowledged the popular meme by posting, "It finally happened… iykyk," alongside a photo of Richardson and Snoop Dogg together.

Some also expressed surprise that it had taken so long for the two stars to cross paths despite their lengthy careers in the entertainment industry.

NSYNC member Lance Bass also reacted to the post, sharing a clapping emoji in support of the reunion.

Their meeting came through their involvement in Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. Snoop Dogg voices the character Dave in the animated film. The movie also features an ensemble voice cast including Mckenna Grace, Jennifer Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Fortune Feimster, Terry Crews and Paris Hilton.

Meanwhile, the Backstreet Boys contributed a new song titled "Bottle Up" to the film's soundtrack, continuing the group's involvement with the family franchise.
