Parliamentarians on Wednesday (today) created massive hue and cry in the Punjab Assembly (PA) session over media reporting of fake degree cases.
Voicing concerns on the issue, a member of the Punjab Assembly from PML-Q, Shaukat Aziz Bhatti accused the media of tarnishing the image of innocent politicians.
Bhatti claimed that his degree is genuine and said that media had concocted stories in an attempt to prove otherwise.
Another PML-Q member, Seemal Kamran also played the victim, accusing the media of leveling false allegations against politicians.
Rana Iqbal from the PML-N, urged members of the assembly to unite against the media.
