Palworld Online MMO spin-off announced for mobile release in 2026

Palworld Online, a massively multiplayer online spin-off of the creature-collecting survival game Palworld, has been announced by developer Pocketpair and publisher Garena.

The mobile title is scheduled to launch exclusively on iOS and Android devices in 2026. According to the official announcement, Palworld Online aims to recreate "the depth, freedom, and scale unique to Palworld, for mobile devices."

The game will focus on online multiplayer features, allowing players to explore the same world, cooperate with others, compete in challenges and build shared bases.

It will also introduce a new setting and original storyline created specifically for the mobile experience.

The announcement stated, "Centered around online multiplayer where players can meet in the same world and enjoy cooperation, competition, and joint base building, the game also incorporates its own unique story setting and original storyline."

Garena president Terry Zhao said the goal is to create a mobile experience that maintains the key elements of the original game.

"We want to deliver a new experience on mobile where players can connect with each other and adventure together. Working closely with Pocketpair, we are optimizing the game so that it can be enjoyed comfortably on mobile devices without sacrificing the depth, immersion, and freedom that are characteristic of Palworld," Zhao said.

Palworld Online will feature a seamless open world where players can explore with their Pals, discover new areas, capture and raise creatures, and uncover story elements. The game will also include additional side stories designed for the mobile version.

Players will be able to meet others in the world, form parties, build shared bases and take part in both cooperative PvE activities and competitive PvP battles.
