Emma Roberts reveals adorable role son Rhodes played in her Cody John wedding

Emma Roberts has shared a heartfelt detail from her recent wedding to actor Cody John, revealing that her five-year-old son, Rhodes, walked her down the aisle during the intimate ceremony in Idaho.

The couple tied the knot on July 25 in Sun Valley, where family and close friends gathered to celebrate. According to Vogue, Rhodes, whom Roberts shares with former partner Garrett Hedlund, wore a white suit for the occasion and accompanied his mother as she made her way to the altar, where John was waiting.

Photos from the ceremony show the mother and son walking hand in hand, creating one of the wedding's most memorable moments. Roberts wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown paired with a long white veil for the ceremony before changing into a custom black dress for the reception. John, known for his roles in Wu-Tang: An American Saga and In the Dark, wore a brown Ferragamo tuxedo.

Speaking about the celebration, Roberts said guests travelled to the venue by gondola, offering panoramic views of Sun Valley's mountain landscape. She also reflected on sharing a quiet moment before the ceremony with John, her mother and Rhodes during the ride to the mountaintop.

"The ride up with Cody, my mom, and my son Rhodes was such a nice moment of calm before stepping into the party," Roberts told Vogue.

The wedding marks a new chapter for Roberts and John, whose relationship has remained largely private. The touching role given to Rhodes added a personal and emotional highlight to the ceremony, with the young boy playing a meaningful part in his mother's special day.
