Selma Blair’s past encounters with Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane and Kate Moss have resurfaced following reports that the actress was arrested after an alleged incident aboard a flight on October 11.

In her 2022 memoir, Mean Baby: A Memoir of Growing Up, Blair described biting the three celebrities during separate social encounters years earlier. She wrote that feeling overwhelmed in public could leave her struggling to respond appropriately in social situations.

According to Page Six, Blair recalled meeting Miller at the Chateau Marmont in 2006 and biting her arm after introducing herself. Blair described the action as playful at first but said she immediately regretted it. She praised Miller for initially responding with laughter rather than shaming her.

Blair also recounted biting MacFarlane on the hand at a Las Vegas gathering in 2004. She wrote that she had felt starstruck after meeting the Family Guy creator and acted impulsively. MacFarlane reportedly exclaimed that the bite hurt, although Blair said it did not break the skin.

Her memoir describes another encounter with supermodel Moss in a London hotel suite after a Marc Jacobs fashion show. Blair recalled biting Moss’s finger while they were taking Polaroid photographs. Moss initially laughed, but reportedly reacted differently when Blair repeated the action.

The stories have attracted renewed attention because of a reported incident involving Blair on a Delta Air Lines flight bound for John F Kennedy International Airport. She was arrested after allegedly biting a flight attendant and assaulting another person on board.

Reports also allege that Blair kicked a Port Authority police officer while being transported by ambulance and later assaulted a nurse at a hospital. The FBI is reportedly investigating the incident.

Blair’s representative said the actress experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. The representative added that she received immediate medical attention after landing and was in stable condition.

The reported allegations remain distinct from the incidents described in Blair’s memoir, which she published four years earlier.
