Christopher Nolan reveals Robert Pattinson is now his regular movie night companion

Christopher Nolan has revealed that actor Robert Pattinson has become his regular movie night companion, offering a glimpse into the friendship the pair have built through their collaborations on screen and their lives off set.

Nolan said his relationship with Pattinson has grown significantly since the two became neighbours in Los Angeles.

The filmmaker shared the details during an interview with Access Hollywood, explaining that their professional partnership has developed into a close personal friendship.

“Rob and I, we’re old friends at this point. And we actually became neighbors ... so we have the odd movie night together and stuff,” Nolan said.

The pair first worked together on Tenet, where Pattinson played Neil in one of the film's most discussed performances.

Nolan has since reunited with the actor for The Odyssey, in which Pattinson portrays the antagonist Antinous. Their continued collaborations reflect the director's confidence in the actor, who has also established himself as Bruce Wayne in The Batman film series.

Nolan also spoke warmly about Pattinson and his partner, saying: “Rob and Suki are wonderful people.”

The comments added to the buzz surrounding The Odyssey as it continues to perform strongly at the global box office.

The film has surpassed several of Nolan's previous commercial milestones, including second-weekend earnings previously held by The Dark Knight.

The mythological epic has exceeded $700 million worldwide within its first 10 days of release.

It received a strong critical response, including a 94% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while its ensemble cast features Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson.
