Post Malone joins Elmo for heartwarming Sesame Street music special
Post Malone joins Elmo and Abby in Storm on Sesame Street with a heartfelt new version of I Had Some Help

Post Malone is bringing his music to a younger audience with a special appearance in Storm on Sesame Street, a new educational special designed to help children prepare for and recover from extreme weather events.
The programme premieres on August 3 on Netflix and PBS KIDS.
The Grammy-nominated singer lends both his voice and music to the special, performing “A Little Help,” a family-friendly adaptation of his hit song I Had Some Help, originally recorded with Morgan Wallen. Joined by Elmo and Abby, the reworked track highlights kindness, resilience and the importance of neighbours supporting one another during difficult times.

In Storm on Sesame Street, Elmo and his friends prepare for a powerful storm by learning practical safety measures while also discovering healthy ways to manage fear and anxiety. As the weather worsens, Elmo realises it is natural to feel scared, but courage comes from facing those emotions together. After the storm passes, the Sesame Street community works side by side to rebuild their neighbourhood with help from Post Malone and comedian Michelle Buteau.
The special also launches Sesame Workshop’s new Extreme Weather response initiative, which aims to provide children and families with trusted resources for coping with hurricanes, floods, wildfires and other climate-related emergencies. The organisation says the initiative reflects the growing impact of extreme weather on families worldwide.
According to Sesame Workshop, children born in 2020 are expected to experience significantly more extreme weather events than previous generations, making age-appropriate educational resources increasingly important. Following its debut on Netflix and PBS KIDS, Storm on Sesame Street will also be available on YouTube in September.
