Spotify selects HAVI as RADAR Pakistan artist for Q3 2026
Music streaming platform Spotify has named Pakistani singer-songwriter HAVI as its RADAR Pakistan artist for the third quarter of 2026, making him the latest emerging musician to join the platform's global artist development programme.
HAVI, whose real name is Abdur Rahman Sajid, has gained attention for his emotionally driven songs and storytelling. According to Spotify, his audience on the platform has grown by more than 335% over the past year, reflecting increasing popularity both in Pakistan and overseas.
Songs including "Andaz E Karam," "Na Milay," and "Farz" have played a key role in his rise, with Spotify reporting that streams of his music have increased by more than 200% over the same period. The platform also said his tracks have been added to over 200,000 user-generated playlists, indicating growing listener engagement.
Beyond Pakistan, HAVI's music has attracted audiences in countries including Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates, according to Spotify.
As part of the RADAR Pakistan programme, Spotify will produce a mini-documentary highlighting HAVI's musical journey, influences and creative process. The initiative is designed to give emerging artists greater visibility through editorial support and original content.
