AnnaLynne McCord and former England rugby international Danny Cipriani are facing online backlash after reports revealed their wedding registry asks guests to contribute financially towards different parts of their upcoming wedding celebrations.

The couple, who became engaged in late 2025 after rekindling their relationship, reportedly created a registry through Honeyfund, a platform commonly used by couples who prefer financial gifts instead of traditional wedding presents. According to reports, the page invited guests to contribute towards specific wedding expenses, including flowers, the rehearsal dinner and construction costs for the venue.

The registry quickly attracted attention after details were reported by The Sun and later discussed by other entertainment outlets. Screenshots and summaries of the contributions spread widely across social media, where many users questioned why two well known public figures would seek financial support for their wedding.

Reports stated that the registry included requests such as two $500 contributions for the rehearsal dinner, two $600 contributions for floral arrangements and eight $600 contributions towards building the wedding venue. The public guestbook on the page was also reportedly flooded with critical comments from visitors who described the approach as inappropriate or out of touch.

The criticism largely centred on the perception that the couple have the financial means to pay for the celebration themselves. Various celebrity wealth estimates place McCord and Cipriani's combined net worth at around $8m, although such figures are unofficial and have not been confirmed by either of them. The online reaction focused less on the exact amount requested and more on whether wealthy celebrities should ask wedding guests to fund event costs.
