Zendaya brought another fashion-focused moment to the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, wearing a custom Ashi Studio look inspired by the superhero at the centre of the film.

The actress arrived in a black satin corset gown featuring a sweeping architectural train, marking the latest appearance in a press tour that has featured several Spider-Man-inspired outfits.

Speaking at the premiere, Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach explained the concept behind the design.

"It's kind of an abstract way to present the spider," Roach told Variety. "You know, in our mind, it's like this metamorphosis of this woman into this thing. And the jewelry is Boucheron."

Although Roach said he could not choose a favourite outfit from the promotional tour, he highlighted Zendaya's archival spiderweb dress from John Galliano's 1997 Circus collection, which she wore to the London premiere of the Marvel film in June.

Zendaya also drew attention earlier in the tour by wearing a vintage Spider-Man T-shirt to a Brand New Day fan event in Paris.

Roach later revealed he had purchased the shirt on eBay for $34.99 before sharing the listing on Instagram with the caption, "Style doesn't always have to cost a fortune."

Roach also briefly addressed future styling plans for Zendaya's upcoming Dune: Part Three press tour but declined to reveal details.

"'Dune' is a bit away, but it's gonna be great. I'm excited," he said.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Zendaya alongside her husband, Tom Holland, who reprises his role as Peter Parker. The film follows Parker as he navigates a world where his friends and family no longer remember him.
