Everything to know about Hulu's revenge thriller 'Furious'

Hulu's latest original series, Furious, is making waves ahead of its July 27 premiere with a gripping story that blends crime, revenge and psychological drama.

Created by Elizabeth Meriwether (New Girl, Dying for Sex), the eight-episode thriller stars Emmy Rossum as Alice, a rookie FBI agent whose career takes a dramatic turn after leaving the NYPD.

She joins veteran agent Nora, played by Quincy Tyler Bernstine, to investigate a string of murders that appear to be connected to a child sex-trafficking network.

As the investigation unfolds, the agents pursue Catherine (played by Lola Petticrew), a mysterious woman targeting men she believes are responsible for horrific crimes. Rather than presenting a straightforward cat-and-mouse chase, the series explores the emotional toll of trauma, the limits of justice and the blurred line between revenge and accountability.

The cast also includes Scoot McNairy, Jake Lacy and Steve Way, with the story tackling themes of abuse, corruption and systemic failures while following multiple interconnected investigations.

Furious premiered on Hulu with its first three episodes on July 27, with the remaining episodes set to roll out weekly.

The series has already generated buzz for its performances, particularly those of Rossum, Bernstine and Petticrew, as well as its emotionally driven approach to the crime thriller genre.
