Pokémon Krispy Kreme doughnuts leak ahead of grocery store release

A new Pokémon-themed Krispy Kreme doughnut collection has reportedly leaked ahead of an official announcement, with packaging suggesting the collaboration could be heading to grocery stores.

Food industry account Snackolator shared an image of what appears to be a six-pack of Krispy Kreme doughnuts featuring Pokémon branding and the tagline, “Gotta eat ’em all!”

The leaked packaging showcases four themed doughnuts inspired by Pikachu, Charmander, Jigglypuff and a Poké Ball.

Two Original Glazed doughnuts appear to complete the assortment, although Krispy Kreme has not confirmed any details about the collection.

At the time of writing, the company has not announced the collaboration or revealed information about flavours, pricing, participating retailers or a release date.

According to Snackolator, the doughnuts are “coming soon”, although the account noted they could arrive as early as this week or take longer to reach stores.

It also remains unclear whether Krispy Kreme shops will receive additional exclusive designs beyond those shown on the grocery store packaging.

If released in the United States, the collaboration would mark one of the first widely available Pokémon-themed Krispy Kreme collections for American customers.

Previous collaborations have largely been limited to international markets. In 2024, Krispy Kreme launched a Pokémon collection in South Korea featuring doughnuts inspired by Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, Ditto and Diglett.

Earlier, in 2021, Australian stores celebrated Pokémon's 25th anniversary with doughnuts themed around Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and a Poké Ball.

The reported collaboration also arrives during Pokémon's year-long 30th anniversary celebrations.

However, neither Krispy Kreme nor The Pokémon Company has confirmed whether the leaked collection is connected to the anniversary campaign.
