Bunnie Xo defends stepdaughter Bailee after Jelly Roll divorce comments

Bunnie Xo has come to the defence of her stepdaughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, after the 18-year-old sparked intense speculation by claiming the internet would "crumble" if people learned the real reason behind Bunnie and Jelly Roll's divorce.

Responding to the growing online frenzy, Bunnie dismissed suggestions that Bailee had revealed a hidden bombshell, insisting there was "nothing to clear up" and expressing her unwavering love for her stepdaughter.

"There's nothing to clear up," Bunnie wrote in a TikTok comment. "Love my baby forever." She added that Bailee's remarks had been taken out of context and exaggerated online.

The response came after Bailee addressed fans during a TikTok livestream, where she firmly denied rumours that either Jelly Roll or Bunnie had been unfaithful.

"Nobody cheated. Period," Bailee said, before adding that people had "no idea" what had actually happened and claiming, "The internet in totality is about to f---ing crumble the day that I open my mouth."

Her comments quickly fuelled speculation across social media, prompting Bunnie to step in and calm the narrative surrounding the family's private life. She also defended Bailee against the backlash she received online, making it clear she remains an important part of her life despite the divorce.

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, born Alisa DeFord, in May 2026, citing irreconcilable differences after nearly a decade of marriage. The divorce was finalised earlier this month, with the couple agreeing to divide their homes, vehicles, aircraft and intellectual property. As part of the settlement, Bunnie also received a confidential lump-sum payment in lieu of future alimony.

Despite ending their marriage, both have repeatedly stressed that the split was amicable. Jelly Roll recently described Bunnie as his "best friend," while Bunnie has previously said the pair simply "served our purpose for each other." They also plan to continue their journey toward having children together through IVF using previously created embryos.

Bunnie's latest message suggests she has little interest in fuelling speculation about the divorce. Instead, her focus remains on protecting Bailee and shutting down rumours, making it clear that, despite the end of her marriage, her relationship with her stepdaughter remains intact.
