Sean Kaufman joins Daisy Edgar-Jones in bestselling novel adaptation

Paramount’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow adds Sky Yang and Sean Kaufman alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones

Paramount Pictures has added Sky Yang and Sean Kaufman to the cast of its upcoming film adaptation of Gabrielle Zevin’s bestselling novel Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.

The actors will join Daisy Edgar-Jones in the highly anticipated movie based on the acclaimed story about friendship, creativity and the video game industry.

Yang will portray Sam Masur, while Kaufman has been cast as Marx Watanabe. Edgar-Jones will play Sadie, the central character who reconnects with Sam during college after they first meet as children. Together with Marx, the trio builds a successful video game company called Unfair Games.

Set across several decades, the Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow movie explores the highs and lows of creative partnerships while following the characters through the rapid growth of the gaming industry during the 1990s and 2000s.

The film is being directed and written by Siân Heder, who won an Academy Award for CODA. The screenplay is based on previous drafts by Mark Bomback and author Gabrielle Zevin, who will also serve as executive producer.

Sky Yang is known for his role in Justin Lin’s drama Last Days and has appeared in projects including Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. Sean Kaufman gained recognition through the Amazon Prime Video series The Summer I Turned Pretty and is attached to several upcoming projects, including Ron Howard’s Alone at Dawn.

Produced by Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner, the Paramount adaptation is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 12, 2027.
