Margaret Qualley makes first appearance after Jack Antonoff split

Margaret Qualley has made her first public appearance since reports emerged that she and musician Jack Antonoff had ended their marriage, returning to work on the set of her upcoming horror film Possession.

The actress was photographed filming scenes in Jersey City, New Jersey, on July 22 for the Paramount Pictures remake of the 1981 psychological horror film.

The project is written and directed by Parker Finn, with Qualley reportedly starring as Anna opposite Callum Turner.

During filming, the 31-year-old was seen running through the streets in a black costume featuring a buttoned cardigan, long skirt, tights and short heels.

Other scenes showed her wearing a simple black long-sleeve top instead of the cardigan, while her hair was styled in a loose braid.

Qualley's return to work comes two weeks after reports that she and Antonoff, whom she married in August 2023, had separated after nearly three years of marriage.

Following the reports, Qualley's representative denied speculation surrounding the breakup in a statement to E! News.

"The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue," the representative said. "There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship."

The statement added that the pair "have deep love and care for one another."

"There are only two people in this marriage," the representative continued, "and the sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy."

Antonoff has not publicly commented on the reported split. On July 8, the same day reports of the separation surfaced, the Bleachers frontman was seen in Brooklyn wearing his wedding ring while walking with his sister, Rachel Antonoff.

Speculation about the couple's relationship increased after fans noticed Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding on July 3 with his sister rather than Qualley.
