Recognition: HBL wins trade finance award

KARACHI: Global Finance has presented Habib Bank Limited (HBL) with the Best Trade Finance Provider Pakistan award in recognition of its achievements in product delivery and service quality in markets where it operates. According to a press release, the award was given during annual World Bank and IMF meetings, currently underway in Washington DC. Global Finance presented banking awards to top global banks at a ceremony attended by senior officials of prominent banks. “We are extremely proud of the award. With our focus on core businesses and technology, we will continue to strive for delivering superior customer services in all our core markets,” said HBL Chairman Sultan Ali Allana, who was in Washington to hold talks with officials of International Finance Corporation (IFC).
