Palworld developer Pocketpair has fuelled fresh speculation about a possible Fortnite crossover after the survival game appeared in a recent Epic Games player survey.

The discussion began after Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared details of a survey asking players whether they had played Palworld during the previous two weeks.

Epic Games regularly uses surveys to gauge interest in games, characters and other entertainment properties. However, inclusion in a survey does not confirm that a collaboration is in development.

The timing drew further attention when Pocketpair publishing and communications lead John "Bucky" Buckley asked fans which of Palworld 1.0's newly introduced creatures they would like to see turned into a Fortnite outfit.

"Theoretically, hypothetically, conceptually, and spiritually… if any of the new Pals in 1.0 were to get a skin, which would it be and what would the skin be?" Buckley wrote on social media.

He also stressed there was "absolutely no promise" that such an idea would ever become reality, but the post quickly prompted fans to speculate about a potential collaboration.

It is not the first time Pocketpair has publicly shown interest in working with Epic Games. In January 2026, Buckley responded to Fortnite gameplay producer Robby Williams after he praised Palworld, writing: "If you ever want to put Palworld in Fortnite just reach out hehe." Williams had also said he would "love" to see Fortnite explore a creature-collecting experience inspired by games such as Palworld and Pokémon.

The latest speculation comes as Fortnite prepares to launch Cuddles & Chaos on July 23, a collection of creature-focused experiences built around the game's Sidekicks system.

Neither Epic Games nor Pocketpair has confirmed that a Palworld crossover or Fortnite skin is currently in development.
