Aaron Rodgers has taken a major step toward healing one of the most publicised family feuds in sports, reuniting with his parents and older brother after nearly a decade of estrangement.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback shared a series of heartfelt Instagram photos showing himself with his mother, Darla Rodgers, father, Ed Rodgers, older brother Luke Rodgers, sister-in-law Aimee and his niece during what he described as "another bonding week." The post quickly drew an outpouring of support from fans and fellow athletes.

Over the years, the feud became one of the NFL's most discussed family disputes. Aaron addressed the strained relationships in his 2024 Netflix docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, revealing that the tensions stretched back years and involved disagreements over religion, family dynamics and long-standing personal conflicts. He also criticised the way the situation had been portrayed publicly.

While Rodgers' latest post suggests he has repaired relationships with his parents and older brother Luke, one notable family member was absent. Jordan Rodgers, now an ESPN analyst and married to former Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher, did not appear in the reunion photos, although he reportedly "liked" Aaron's Instagram post, fuelling speculation that their relationship may also be improving.

The exact timing of the reconciliation remains unclear, but the public display has been widely interpreted as a meaningful step forward after years of distance. Friends, former teammates and fans flooded the comments with messages celebrating the apparent healing within the Rodgers family.

The family reunion comes as Rodgers prepares for what is widely expected to be the final chapter of his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the veteran quarterback has kept much of his personal life private in recent years, including his marriage to wife Brittani, the latest photos offered a rare glimpse into a happier chapter away from football.
