Tom Holland has given fans another glimpse into his married life with Zendaya after publicly referring to the actress as his "wife" during a new podcast appearance, adding further confirmation to a relationship that has captivated audiences for years.

The British actor made the comment while appearing on the UK podcast Dish, where he joined hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett for a light hearted conversation during the promotion of The Odyssey. During a quick fire question round, Holland was asked which person he would most like to take on a holiday in Greece.

"I think probably my wife would be pretty good," Holland replied with a smile. He then joked that it would be strange to tell Zendaya he was heading to Mykonos with his The Odyssey co star Matt Damon instead.

The casual remark immediately caught fans' attention because it marked another public occasion on which Holland referred to Zendaya as his wife. While the couple have kept much of their relationship private over the years, they have gradually become more open when discussing each other during recent interviews.

Holland had already confirmed last month that the pair had married, ending years of speculation surrounding one of Hollywood's most closely followed relationships. His latest podcast appearance simply continued that openness, offering another affectionate reference to their marriage while discussing his travel plans.

The actor has also shared several humorous stories about Zendaya while promoting Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. During a recent interview alongside Nolan, Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway, Holland revealed that he sought Zendaya's opinion after being offered the role of Telemachus.

According to Holland, he told Zendaya he had received an offer for what he described as "the big one." After realising Christopher Nolan was directing the project, she jokingly replied that she would leave him if he turned down the opportunity. The playful story drew laughter from everyone in the interview, including Nolan himself.

Holland also recently joked about Zendaya's role in The Odyssey while discussing the film's characters. Responding to a question about whether Athena, played by Zendaya, loved Damon's Odysseus romantically, Holland quickly answered that she could not because "she's married to me." Damon laughed before adding his approval of the response.

The couple first met during screen tests for Spider Man: Homecoming before their relationship became public in 2021. Since then, they have largely avoided sharing details about their private lives despite constant public interest. Instead, they have occasionally acknowledged one another during interviews while continuing to work together professionally.

This summer marks another significant chapter for both stars. They appear together in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which has enjoyed a strong global box office debut, while audiences will also see them reunite in Spider Man: Brand New Day.
