Victoria Beckham was absent from Mel C's wedding celebrations over the weekend as she remained in New York to promote her Victoria Beauty fragrance alongside her family.

While the Spice Girls reunited in Cumbria for Mel C's wedding to long-time partner Chris Dingwall on July 18, Victoria was attending a promotional event for her perfume, Portofino '97, at Caffe Paradiso in Manhattan's Nolita neighbourhood.

The fashion designer and beauty entrepreneur was joined by her husband, David Beckham, and three of their children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, as the family showed their support during the New York event.

Victoria wore a navy midi dress with brown cutout heels, while photographs from the occasion showed David standing beside her and Harper posing with her mother.

Victoria first launched the Portofino '97 fragrance under her Victoria Beauty brand in September 2023, with the New York pop-up celebrating the perfume.

Meanwhile, Mel C married Chris Dingwall at The Country House in Cumbria, a 19th-century countryside venue.

According to the report, fellow Spice Girls members Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B attended the ceremony, along with Geri's husband, Christian Horner.

Although Victoria was unable to travel to the UK for the wedding, the report stated that she still played a role in the celebrations by designing Mel C's wedding dress.

It also reported that Mel C's 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, served as a bridesmaid during the ceremony.

Victoria's absence came as the Beckham family continued their stay in the United States during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The family attended several of England's matches throughout the tournament, including the semi-final defeat to Argentina, which ended the team's hopes of reaching the final.
