Hayden Panettiere neighbour breaks silence with troubling account before death
Hayden Panettiere’s former neighbour claims she saw the actress taken away on a gurney twice before her death

Hayden Panettiere’s former neighbour has shared new claims about the actress’ final years, alleging she saw Panettiere being taken from her Los Angeles apartment on a gurney on two occasions.
Mia Terrazas, who continues to live in the West Hollywood complex where Panettiere previously resided, spoke to Page Six about the alleged incidents. According to the report, the encounters took place in July 2023 and January 2024, with the outlet stating that it reviewed evidence that appeared to support the dates.
Terrazas claimed Panettiere appeared to have visible injuries during both incidents, including what she described as red marks and bruises. She also alleged that Brian Hickerson, Panettiere’s former partner, was present and appeared to remain close to the actress.
“It appeared that she had been beaten up,” Terrazas told the outlet, while stressing that she did not know what had happened to Panettiere.
The neighbour had previously spoken publicly about her concerns regarding Hickerson and told Inside Edition that she had contacted 911 multiple times because of disturbances at the apartment. She also claimed Panettiere appeared frightened during that period.
Panettiere and Hickerson had an on-and-off relationship that was marked by domestic violence allegations. Hickerson was convicted of a felony in 2021 and received a jail sentence and probation, as well as a five-year protective order.
According to the supplied report, Panettiere died on August 16 at the age of 36 after being found unresponsive at an Airbnb in South Carolina. Hickerson and his brother, Zach Hickerson, were reportedly present. Her official cause of death had not been announced, while authorities said there were no signs of foul play and toxicology results were pending.
Hickerson’s attorney declined to comment on Terrazas’ latest allegations.
