Interrogation: Step-mother to be questioned for boy’s death

RAWALPINDI:

The RA Bazaar police included the step-mother of a child, who was killed recently, in the investigation of the case.

Two other persons are also being questioned for their alleged involvement, said an official on Tuesday. Muhammad Asghar, an army man and a resident of Jahwra told the police that his son, Muhammad Hussnain, 14, had gone outside for playing on Monday and did not return.

Worried about his son, Asghar started searching for him everywhere after which he was informed that Husnain’s body was lying in the nearby drain.

He reached the spot and saw that his son was dead and his cloths were torn. The investigation officer Raja Ziarat said that Maria, 22, was the step-mother of Husnain. She was Asghar’s second wife.
