ESPYS 2026: Jalen Brunson, A'ja Wilson among top winners — full list

The 2026 ESPYS celebrated the biggest achievements in sports over the past year, honoring standout athletes, teams and unforgettable performances across multiple disciplines.

Held at Lincoln Center in New York City, the annual awards ceremony recognized excellence on and off the field while paying tribute to inspiring figures in the sporting world.

Among the night's biggest winners, Jalen Brunson earned Best Athlete – Men's Sports and Best Championship Performance after leading the New York Knicks to their first NBA title in more than 50 years. WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson was named Best Athlete – Women's Sports, while the Knicks also took home the Best Team award.

Shohei Ohtani won Best Single-Game Performance, Myles Garrett received Best Record-Breaking Performance, and OG Anunoby claimed Best Play. Figure skater Alysa Liu was named Best Breakthrough Athlete following her remarkable rise on the international stage.

The ceremony also honored achievements beyond competition. Stephen Curry received the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award, Jason Collins was presented with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, Jim Abbott earned the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, and Scott Ruskan received the Pat Tillman Award for Service.
