Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's contrasting personalities reportedly played a major role in the end of their marriage, with a source claiming the couple ultimately realised they viewed life too differently despite their deep affection for one another.

According to a source who spoke to People, the pair's separation was not caused by infidelity or a dramatic falling out, but by fundamental differences in temperament that became increasingly difficult to overcome.

"Margaret is such a warm and positive person," the insider said. "Jack is much more serious. They just have different outlooks on life."

The source added that although the actress and music producer cared deeply for one another, their contrasting personalities eventually proved incompatible.
