FC commanders visit families of Ziarat martyrs
The commandant and wing commanders of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) visited the homes of police personnel martyred in the recent terrorist attack in Ziarat and paid tribute to their sacrifice, reaffirming solidarity with the bereaved families.
According to an official statement, 27 police personnel were martyred while fighting terrorists identified by the state as the Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan during the attack in the Ziarat area of Balochistan.
The statement said 18 of the police personnel were taken hostage by the attackers. It claimed that instead of surrendering or compromising state security, they upheld their honour and embraced martyrdom, demonstrating exceptional courage, professional commitment and loyalty.
During the visits, the FC commandant and wing commanders met the families of the martyred policemen and also visited their graves. They laid floral wreaths, offered prayers and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
The statement said the visits reflected the close institutional bond between Pakistan's security forces, adding that the country's law enforcement and paramilitary institutions stand together in the fight against terrorism and share each other's grief and sacrifices.
"The blood of our police brothers is a debt upon us all," an official present during the visits was quoted as saying. "We share this grief as one family, and we stand together as one front against terror."
According to the statement, the visits were widely appreciated as a demonstration of institutional support, reassuring the families that the sacrifices of the martyred policemen would neither be forgotten nor go unanswered.
