Meghan Markle has returned to the United Kingdom with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time in several years, marking a rare family visit alongside Prince Harry.

According to multiple reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children met privately with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on Friday. The meeting was held behind closed doors, and no official photographs or additional details have been released.

The visit marks the first time Meghan and the couple's children have traveled to Britain since attending Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Reports indicate the family is not expected to make any public appearances during the trip.

The visit comes after ongoing discussions surrounding security arrangements for the Sussex family in the U.K. Prince Harry has previously challenged decisions regarding police protection after he and Meghan stepped back as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. Reports suggested that extensive private security planning took place before the family's visit.

Prince Harry is also in Britain for engagements linked to the Invictus Games, with events highlighting preparations for the 2027 competition. The latest family visit has renewed attention on Harry's efforts to maintain ties between his children and the royal family.

In previous interviews, Harry has spoken about wanting Archie and Lilibet to understand their British heritage and develop a relationship with their grandfather, King Charles, who continues to receive treatment for cancer.

While Buckingham Palace has not commented publicly on the private gathering, the visit represents a significant moment for the Sussex family, whose relationship with the royal household has remained under close public scrutiny in recent years.
