Margaret Qualley reportedly decided to separate from Jack Antonoff after the couple faced ongoing challenges in their marriage, according to multiple media reports.
The development comes after news emerged that the pair had ended their relationship following nearly three years of marriage.
According to Us Weekly, sources claimed Qualley initiated the separation after the couple experienced difficulties over the past several years. The reported issues allegedly included demanding work schedules, long periods apart and trust-related concerns within the marriage. The outlet's source also claimed the actress ultimately felt she needed to step back after attempts to work through their differences did not succeed.
The report follows confirmation from Page Six that the couple had separated. Another source cited by the publication claimed communication had been a recurring challenge during the marriage, alleging that differences in decision-making and feeling unheard contributed to tensions between the pair.
Despite the reported separation, sources told Us Weekly that Qualley and Antonoff have not made any decisions regarding divorce. Page Six also reported that the couple is handling the separation amicably and that speculation surrounding alleged infidelity is unfounded.
The split attracted widespread attention after Antonoff attended the reported wedding celebrations of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce without Qualley. Fans also noticed that Qualley had removed wedding photos from her Instagram account, while Antonoff reportedly dropped the song Margaret, which was inspired by his wife, from Bleachers' concert setlist.
Neither Qualley nor Antonoff has publicly commented on the reported reasons behind their separation. Their last public appearance together took place at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, before speculation about the state of their relationship began to intensify.
