Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have separated after nearly three years of marriage, a source has confirmed to People. The actress and Grammy-winning music producer are said to have quietly ended their relationship following what insiders described as a "rocky" period in their marriage.
According to the source, the pair had been experiencing difficulties for some time before deciding to separate. While neither Qualley nor Antonoff has publicly commented on the split, those close to the couple say the decision was made after months of trying to work through their issues.
The news comes just days after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations in New York City without Qualley, sparking speculation among fans. At the time, her absence was widely attributed to filming commitments, but online rumours intensified after fans noticed she had removed several photos of Antonoff, including images from their 2023 wedding, from her Instagram account.
Qualley, 31, and Antonoff, 42, were first linked romantically in 2021 before making their red carpet debut at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards. They became engaged later that year and married in an intimate ceremony in New Jersey in August 2023, attended by celebrity friends including Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum.
Throughout their relationship, the couple frequently collaborated creatively. Qualley appeared in music videos for Antonoff's band Bleachers, while Lana Del Rey famously wrote the song "Margaret" as a tribute to their romance before they married.
Both continued to enjoy successful careers during their marriage. Qualley received widespread acclaim for films including The Substance and Honey Don't!, while Antonoff remained one of pop music's most sought-after producers, working with artists such as Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Lorde.
Neither Qualley nor Antonoff has addressed the separation publicly, and it remains unclear whether divorce proceedings have been initiated. Representatives for both stars have not commented on the reports.
