Love Island USA moved a step closer to its Season 8 finale as relationships continued to develop, with one couple enjoying a night in the Hideaway and another making their romance official.

Tuesday night's episode focused on strengthening connections ahead of a public vote that will decide the four couples reaching the final.

The episode resumed with Kenzie and Dylan still working through tensions before the Islanders received a text announcing that one couple would spend the night in the Hideaway.

The group selected Melanie and Sincere, who used the private time to discuss their relationship and their families. Melanie said, "My mum would be angry with you for your actions in the villa."

The following morning, the girls were surprised with a private trip to a water park while the boys remained at the villa.

During the outing, TiTi became emotional as she reflected on her relationship with KC, saying she planned to introduce him to her family for the first time.

Kayda also expressed disappointment that the other Islanders did not understand what she and Zach meant by being "exclusively dating".

Back at the villa, Dylan admitted to Carl that he still wanted Kenzie to take full responsibility for their earlier disagreement. Later, Kenzie apologised again, and the pair agreed to focus on enjoying the rest of their time in the villa.

The episode concluded with KC carrying out a planned scavenger hunt before presenting TiTi with roses and asking her to be his girlfriend. She accepted, making them the second official couple alongside Trinity and Bryce.

The programme ended with viewers being invited to vote for their favourite couples, with the results determining the four finalists.

Love Island USA premieres new episodes daily, except Wednesdays, on Peacock at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
