Charli xcx unveils 'Music, Fashion, Film' tracklist featuring collaboration with David Cronenberg

Charli xcx has enlisted the legendary director of 'The Fly, Crash and Videodrome' for the track 'No One Lasts Forever'

Charli XCX has revealed the full tracklist for her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, confirming that acclaimed filmmaker David Cronenberg is the record's only featured guest. The album arrives on July 24 and consists of 11 tracks with a runtime of just over 30 minutes.

The singer shared the complete track listing on social media after weeks of teasing the project's new creative direction. While fans had speculated that the album might include collaborations with fellow pop stars, Charli instead enlisted the legendary Canadian director of The Fly, Crash and Videodrome for the closing track, No One Lasts Forever.

Although details of Cronenberg's contribution remain under wraps, the collaboration reinforces the cinematic themes running throughout the album. Since announcing Music, Fashion, Film, Charli has blurred the lines between music, fashion and cinema, even unveiling artwork featuring cultural icons John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese to represent the album's three creative pillars.

Three songs Rock Music, SS26, and Wink Wink, have already been released as singles, offering fans a glimpse of the album's sonic departure from the Brat era. Charli has previously described the project as intentionally different from her previous work, embracing a more experimental blend of music, fashion and film influences.

To celebrate the release, Charli is also hosting exclusive listening sessions in 25 cities around the world between July 9 and 11, giving selected fans an opportunity to hear the album before it arrives on streaming platforms. The events will take place in independent cinemas across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, further emphasising the project's cinematic identity.

Music, Fashion, Film marks Charli's first solo studio album since the hugely influential Brat and continues her expansion beyond music into filmmaking and fashion. With an acclaimed director joining her for the album's finale, the project is shaping up to be one of this summer's most distinctive pop releases.
