Jay Z has expanded his special Jay Z 30 concert series by adding a London performance, giving fans in the United Kingdom a chance to celebrate one of hip hop's most influential careers. The newly announced concert will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 and will serve as his only UK appearance of the year.

The London date joins previously announced anniversary shows in Paris on September 10 and Los Angeles on October 23. The limited run of performances has been organised to mark three decades since Jay Z emerged as one of the defining figures in modern music, with the concerts celebrating both his extensive catalogue and his lasting impact on the industry.

Before travelling to Europe, Jay Z is set to headline two major concerts at Yankee Stadium in New York on July 10 and July 11. Each performance will honour a different milestone in his career. The July 10 show commemorates the 30th anniversary of his landmark debut album Reasonable Doubt, while the July 11 concert celebrates the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint, widely regarded as one of the most influential hip hop albums of the 21st century.

The anniversary series follows Jay Z's acclaimed appearance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30, where he reunited with legendary hip hop band The Roots for a unique live performance. The collaboration earned praise from both fans and critics for its musicianship and inventive arrangements of some of the rapper's biggest songs.

Reviewing the performance, Variety described the concert as a showcase of the long standing creative chemistry between Jay Z and The Roots. The publication highlighted seamless transitions between tracks including "I Just Wanna Love U Give It 2 Me", "Big Pimpin'", "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" and "I Know". At the conclusion of the concert, Jay Z acknowledged the effort behind the production, telling the audience, "We worked really hard to put this together."

The newly announced London show is expected to attract fans from across the United Kingdom and Europe, given that it represents his only British concert this year. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has become an increasingly popular venue for major international artists, offering one of the largest concert capacities in London.

Tickets for the London performance will first be made available through a presale beginning on July 9 at 10am local time. General ticket sales will open on July 10 at 10am local time, with strong demand anticipated due to the limited number of concerts in the Jay Z 30 series.

Throughout a career spanning 30 years, Jay Z has released critically acclaimed albums including Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Black Album and 4:44, while also becoming one of the music industry's most successful entrepreneurs. The anniversary concerts are designed to celebrate that legacy, revisiting the songs that established him as one of rap's most respected artists and recognising his enduring influence on music, culture and live performance.
