Hilary Duff joins ‘Bath & Body Works’ for colourful new ‘Fruit Fusion’ launch

The actress and singer also served as a creative partner as the new collection introduced fruit inspired fragrances

Hilary Duff has been unveiled as the face of Bath & Body Works' new Fruit Fusion collection, marking a high profile partnership that also sees the actress and singer take on the role of creative partner for the campaign.

The collaboration was announced as Bath & Body Works introduced a colourful range of body care products inspired by fruit fragrances. According to the company, the Fruit Fusion collection includes body wash, body mist, body lotion, body cream, lip oil and the newly introduced PocketSpray Hand Sanitizer. Four fragrances lead the range, Berry Bliss, Tangerine Twirl, Watermelon Whirl and Banana Blend. Matching fruit shaped coin purses have also been created for each scent, giving the collection a playful look designed for summer.

Bath & Body Works chief brand and product officer Veronique Gabai Pinsky explained that Duff was a natural choice to represent the campaign because of the qualities she brings to the brand.

"We needed to show the world that the brand was shifting and reigniting in a way," Gabai Pinsky told Glossy. She added that the company believes Duff represents joy, confidence and self care, qualities the retailer wanted to highlight through the new campaign.

Gabai Pinsky also pointed to Duff's renewed public profile, noting that the singer is returning to touring after an 18 year break, making the timing of the collaboration particularly significant.

Duff's involvement extended beyond appearing in promotional images. Bath & Body Works confirmed she also contributed creatively to the campaign, reflecting the company's strategy of giving celebrity partners a more active role in shaping product launches rather than simply endorsing them.

Among the four fragrances, Banana Blend has already attracted attention for its nostalgic scent profile. Early reviews have compared it to banana flavoured sweets while describing it as a fresh take on classic fruit inspired body care. The retailer has also incorporated removable fruit charms and textured packaging across the collection to create a more interactive experience for customers.

The launch reflects a broader trend in the beauty industry, where brands continue to embrace playful packaging, nostalgic fragrances and celebrity collaborations to generate excitement in an increasingly competitive market. Fruit inspired scents have experienced renewed popularity in recent years, particularly among younger consumers looking for fun, everyday fragrances.

For Duff, the partnership adds another major commercial campaign to a career that spans music, television and lifestyle ventures. Best known for starring in Lizzie McGuire before building a successful recording career, she has remained active across entertainment and business while balancing family life.
