Bam Margera makes unexpected ‘Jackass’ confession after feud

Bam Margera says he has no bad blood with most of the 'Jackass' cast but insists a reunion will never happen

 

Bam Margera has ruled out any possibility of reuniting with the Jackass franchise, despite insisting he no longer harbours resentment toward most of the cast.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the former stunt performer said he plans to watch Jackass: Best and Last but made it clear that returning to the group is off the table.

Margera explained that while he has “no bad blood” with the majority of his former co-stars, his feelings remain unchanged toward Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine, the franchise's longtime director. He said their past decisions during the production of Jackass Forever ended any chance of a future collaboration.

“I’ll definitely check out the movie, and I hope it’s good, but as far as a reunion, it’s not going to happen,” Margera told the publication, adding that he has no desire to work with Knoxville or Tremaine again.

The comments revisit the fallout surrounding Jackass Forever in 2022, when Margera was removed from the film after disputes over wellness requirements tied to his participation. He later filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Paramount Pictures, alleging he was pressured into signing agreements while in rehabilitation and subjected to strict drug testing. Although the lawsuit was eventually dismissed at Margera's request, no public settlement has been confirmed.

Now sober, Margera says his priorities have shifted toward family and skateboarding. He credited his wife, Dannie Marie, and his son, Phoenix, with inspiring his recovery and helping him focus on a healthier future.

The 46-year-old described skateboarding as his "therapy" and said it remains his primary passion, adding that he is focused on learning new tricks rather than revisiting his past with Jackass.
