Taylor Swift fans gathered outside Madison Square Garden after the singer's wedding to Travis Kelce erupted in excitement after a mystery pastry handed out from a bakery van was widely believed to have come from the wedding reception.
A viral video showed fans surrounding a white van marked "SP Bakery Distributors Inc." shortly after Swift and Kelce's wedding celebrations.
While there is no confirmed connection between the vehicle and the event, many fans speculated it had delivered desserts for the high-profile ceremony.
The footage showed onlookers attempting to determine whether the van had catered the wedding, with one person asking the driver, "How was it? Good?"
Others jokingly tried to identify the dessert served at the reception, asking for a thumbs-up if it had been chocolate cake or a thumbs-down if it had been vanilla.
At one point, a man inside the van lifted a box towards the window, prompting a fan to shout, "Throw it! I'll catch it!"
Another fan declared, "I got this. I don't care. It's Taylor Swift food."
Before the pastry could be handed to the crowd, a police officer took possession of the box. Moments later, one fan appealed directly to the officer, saying, "Officer, I deserve it. May I please have it?"
The fan was eventually given the pastry, sparking cheers from those gathered outside the venue.
"Oh my God, guys, we're having Taylor Swift dessert!" the recipient exclaimed in the video.
The pastry appeared to be a glazed laminated pastry with a possible fruit filling, although its origin has not been verified.
The moment nevertheless generated widespread discussion across social media, with many fans embracing the possibility that the dessert had been part of the celebrations.
Swift and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in front of around 1,000 guests, with celebrities from music, film, television and sport attending the star-studded ceremony.
