Taylor Swift's aunt, Robin Gentry, has shared rare details from the singer's wedding to Travis Kelce, offering one of the first personal accounts from inside the private ceremony held at Madison Square Garden.
The couple married on July 3 in front of around 1,000 guests following months of speculation surrounding the highly anticipated event.
According to multiple reports cited in the source material, Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, while Travis Kelce's brother Jason served as best man and Swift's brother Austin was her man of honour.
The wedding remained largely private, with few details emerging from inside the venue. However, Gentry briefly spoke to LBC News as she left Madison Square Garden after the ceremony.
"They cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed," she said, according to Page Six.
Although she declined to reveal many additional details, Gentry described the wedding cake as exceptional and said there was "lots" of food served during the celebration.
The ceremony was reportedly held under strict security measures. According to Bloomberg News reporter Myles Miller, attendees, including law enforcement personnel, were required to store their phones before entering the venue.
Miller also wrote on X that he had been told some Madison Square Garden staff members were dismissed for allegedly violating non-disclosure agreements connected to the wedding.
According to the report, Kelce is expected to take a multi-week honeymoon before returning to Kansas City Chiefs training camp later this month.
