Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly opted against having a traditional wedding party, instead asking their brothers to take on the ceremony's key roles during their July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden.

According to PEOPLE, the couple decided not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Kelce's older brother, Jason Kelce, served as his best man, while Swift chose her younger brother, Austin Swift, as her "man of honor."

The publication also reported that actor Adam Sandler, who stars alongside Kelce in Happy Gilmore 2, officiated the ceremony.

Although the couple reportedly chose not to have a formal bridal party, the wedding was attended by family, friends and a number of high-profile guests.

On Kelce's side, attendees reportedly included NFL players George Kittle, Matthew Stafford and several of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Swift's guests included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz, Lena Dunham, Dakota Johnson, Karlie Kloss, Abigail Anderson and sisters Alana, Danielle and Este Haim.

The reported decision drew attention because Swift has long been associated with a close circle of high-profile friends, leading to speculation over who might have been selected as bridesmaids. The singer instead chose to forgo a traditional wedding party altogether.

Austin Swift's reported role reflects the siblings' close relationship. Over the years, Taylor Swift has publicly acknowledged her brother in interviews and music, and has credited him with supporting her during her efforts to regain ownership of her master recordings.

Jason Kelce's role as best man also mirrors an earlier family milestone. Travis Kelce previously served as Jason's best man when he married Kylie Kelce in 2018.
