Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly planning the next stage of their married life by searching for a new home in New York City that they hope will reflect their future together.
According to Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack, the newlyweds are looking beyond Swift's existing Tribeca property as they begin making plans for married life and, according to sources, a future family.
"They don't want to live in 'Taylor's house,'" one insider told the outlet. "They want a home that represents their marriage. Every room, every decision, every memory should belong equally to both of them. They're starting this chapter as partners."
The source added that while Swift remains fond of her current residence, the couple reportedly wants a property that symbolises a shared future rather than one partner moving into the other's established home.
"Taylor loves her place, but it reflects the life she had before Travis became her husband. They want to walk through the front door and feel like they're entering a home they created together—not one person moving into the other's world."
Another insider claimed that the search is about more than finding a new property.
"This is their fresh start. They're not building Taylor's life or Travis's life anymore. They're building one life—together…. It's about finding the place where they'll celebrate holidays, host friends, raise children, and build a marriage. Every decision is being made together."
Swift and Kelce reportedly began dating in July 2023 before making their relationship public later that year when the singer attended one of the NFL star's games.
The couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, with Swift sharing photos from the proposal alongside the caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨."
They married on July 3 during a ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
